Please read the following terms carefully. By submitting this application you confirm you understand and agree to these terms.
Booking Charge (First Document / Primary Service)
You set your own rate for each service in your Rates & Settings (e.g. $30 for attestation of a document). This is the minimum service charge — the amount the platform collects from the customer on your behalf when they book. Calgary Oaths retains 20% of this amount as a platform commission; you receive the remaining 80%.
Example: You set $30 for attestation.
Platform commission (20%): $6.00
Your payout: $24.00
If GST-registered, you also receive 5% GST on your payout: +$1.20 = $25.20 total
Additional Documents & Services
Any additional documents or services beyond the first (e.g. extra pages, additional copies, travel time) are your responsibility to charge and collect directly from the customer at the time of the appointment — whether in-person, remote, or mobile. These additional amounts are not processed through the platform and no commission is charged on them.
Example: Customer has 3 extra documents at $15 each.
You collect $45 directly from the customer. No platform fee applies to this amount.
Document Upload Requirement
To mark a booking as complete and trigger your payout, you must upload the following to the partner portal for each appointment:
- A copy of the customer's government-issued photo ID
- All commissioned, notarized, or completed documents from the appointment
Bookings cannot be marked complete without these uploads. This is a legal and audit requirement.
Cancellation & Booking Commitment
Once you confirm a booking, you are responsible for honouring it. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must do so through the partner portal. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows after confirmation may result in account review or suspension.
Payouts
Your payout (80% of the booking charge, plus GST if applicable) is processed after you mark the booking as complete with all required document uploads. Payout timing depends on the payment processor.
